| Hmm... Newbie here. I want to post an image to share with all of you, but it says I must post at least three times before I can post an image. So here's post #1. |

(Here's my original post. I hope it works now.)
Here's a mosaic of the Burj Dubai, made from all of the thumbnails in the photo galleries since start of construction (though all thumbnails were not used in this mosaic). I found a FireFox add-on that downloaded automatically all the thumbnails for each page. Then I found some free software online that makes mosaics. I've wanted to do this for a long time and have been watching the construction of this historical building for a few years now. I've been coming back to this awesome website at least once a week. Great job.
The main photo below is of the finished building, posted withing the last few weeks, but it's composed of photos during all of its construction, up to about a week ago.
Any other mosaics from larger resolution files you'd like to see? Give me a link to the full-res image and I can try to make a mosaic of it later, and post it here, if you like.
I'm not sure how the image will appear on your screen, but it's best if you can see it at 100%, or full resolution on your screen at some point. That way you see the individual thumbnails it's composed of.
Enjoy:
